Welcome to Hasphetica SMP!

As part of our goal to create a community-safe and freedom-first Minecraft server, we’ve set some basic ground rules. They're nothing out of the ordinary, but they're important to keep things running smoothly. Remember, the owner and staff have the discretion to enforce these rules as they see fit. If you’re concerned about actions taken by staff, please refer to Rule 7. Also, note that these in-game rules are separate from the community rules.

1. Be Respectful

• Treat everyone fairly. Harassment or demeaning behavior towards others is not tolerated.
• Keep the chat civil.
  • Avoid discussing politics or other controversial topics. While these topics aren't strictly moderated, resulting arguments or conflicts may be.
• Don’t use derogatory language, including slurs.
• In general, just be a decent, civil person.

2. No Griefing or Stealing

• Don’t play with the intent to destroy others' items, builds, or projects.
• Always ask before taking anything that belongs to someone else.

3. No Cheating or Hacking

• No hacks, cheats, or exploits. This includes x-ray mods, fly hacks, and similar.
• Quality of life mods (like minimaps, shaders, sound mods, etc.) are fine, but nothing that gives an unfair advantage.
  • If you're unsure about a mod, ask a staff member.
• Macros and AFK scripts are allowed as long as they aren’t abused.

4. PVP Rules

• PVP is allowed, but don’t repeatedly kill or harass other players.
• No spawn killing. Period.
• Traps are fair game, but don’t place them in someone’s base without permission.

5. Keep the Environment Clean

• Don’t leave the map messy. This includes floating trees, wool spam, and similar.
• Don’t grief the map, especially with TNT.

6. Respect Claims and Boundaries

• Don’t build too close to others without their permission.
• Don’t claim areas that are unrealistically large or block others from building.

7. Follow Staff Instructions

• Listen to server staff and follow their instructions.
• If you have an issue, report it to an admin instead of taking matters into your own hands.
  • If you have concerns, feel free to contact Rose, the owner, through Discord. You’re welcome to bring up any issue without fear of judgment!

8. No Spamming

• Don’t spam chat, commands, or anything that clutters communication.

9. Avoid Lagging the Server

• Avoid building machines or doing things that could lag the server.
  • If you’re unsure, ask a staff member.
• Intentional actions that cause server lag will lead to your removal from the server.
